Hi Amy,
This journey was indeed lovely. Ethereal, mystic and holding the capacity to shift our perspective, transform our ” missing the wood for the trees” thoughts. Thank you and God bless you.
I also take this opportunity of this occupy Blogosphere day to add the link of my new post, ” What if…” whic readers may find interesting.

Cheers

Thanks, Shakti – I’m so glad you added a link to your post. I was going to respond with a couple of sentences. During my time in the Corporate world, especially as manager of Personnel operations, I was endlessly aware of all the ‘latest and greatest’ books on leadership, management, etc. Thus it was very interesting to “hear about” one of the more recent ones. Hope my soapbox isn’t cluttering your comment room! 😀
This is absolutely incredible, Amy! It is exactly how I imagined us ‘Occupiers’ lighting up the planet every Thursday, with our shots of positivity! It’s a truly awesome sight, seen from above and an excellent reminder of why we are continuing to do this, week by week. 🙂
I’ve posted a YouTube video, which jumped out at me, on facebook, this morning – you can view it here: http://wightrabbit.wordpress.com/2012/06/07
Your link is a MUST. I’m going to link your post on FaceBook, Jacqueline.
Wow! Thank you, Amy! It’s a truly inspiring and surprisingly ‘good’feel’ video!
I adored seeing the Northern Lights from “up top”.
That’s so cool! Thanks Soul Dipper for sharing and reminding me why we are here. Hugs from Wisconsin!
Hi Tess! Glad to have your visit. Hope summer is more evident in Wisconsin than it is here. We are in the midst of a grand drizzle, but even when it’s sunny, the Canadian West Coast is unseasonably cool.
The video also for me helps set a perspective on the day.
You know, Charles, I like any experience that helps me imagine being able to flit about with just a thought! However, when I was in our North, I never dreamed I’d be able to see the Northern Lights from ABOVE. Thrilling to see…I could almost hear them crackling.
My dad worked for NASA many years ago and I still can’t wrap my mind around the advances we’ve made in understanding our planet. You’re right, It is magnificient and we’ve got to treat it with respect.
Diana, what a thrill it must have been to hear your dad talk about work. Wow.
Your photo says it all…he could be considered the poster child for lighting up the world: http://dianadouglas.wordpress.com/2012/06/07/your-excuse-is-invalid-lighting-up-the-blogosphere-060612/
Go on folks, see if you can match this little guy!
I watched this first this morning, Amy, and Felix was sitting next to me: his eyes boggled! A really extraordinary film, thank you. And now I’m going to show it to Phil…
Kate, I’m so pleased you shared it with a young ‘un! That makes it even more worthwhile in sharing it. So…are you going to tell me that Phil named all the countries we saw?? Okay, you helped him! Somehow it wouldn’t surprise me that the two of you would be able to do that!
It’s the sort of thing we would do, but we were mesmerised by the lightning and the green glow of the atmosphere and the northern lights…
what an amazingly beautiful planet we live on. We must remember that we do not own it but that is shares its beauty and life with us.
It calls us to be reverent! How can we think we know so much that we can harm anything so precious?
Wow……fantastic!!!!
And I really mean FANtastic!
Ohhhhh…..wait til I show himself!
It’ll knock his socks off, just like it did mine, no doubt.
k…….figuratively, that is. It’s summer. Barefoot is a must! 🙂
Well, then your summer is a lot warmer than ours. We’re going to start naming the cold fronts! Nutso!
OH!! Look!! IT POSTED!! Wooooooohoooooo!!!!!
(been having a bit of an issue with commenting on wordpress web logs for some reason….*grumbling*…..no doubt it’s ME…..)
I looked into your comment…found that WordPress tweaked something and hoped it was fixed for one and all. Glad it works, Mel.
