Occupy Blogosphere, Thursday, May 10, 2012

Many thanks

to Charles, of SLPMartin,

agreed to share his photo art and poem – poignantly addressed to the 1%:

digital decoupage cwmartin

note from the 99

we just
to let you know
we’re sitting here
you may not
see us
are sitting
as you
our future
we thought
you’d like to know
we’re sitting here
you appear
not to see us
we are
sitting here
watching you
smile into the camera
waving your hands
as if
you see us
we’ve decided
that you
cannot see
so we’ve

  1. Ooh that’s powerful! I don’t know Charles’ writing but I can see he has a gift for saying so much with just a few words

    for example the ending

    “….we’ve decided
    that you
    cannot see
    so we’ve

Thank you for sharing both picture and poem with us.

    • Charles’ poetry at the SLPMartin link is full of punch! Sometimes while reading it, one feels an angel giving a spiritual glare that says, “Have you looked into YOUR soul?”! 😀

  2. Wow……..now that’s powerful–especially with the faces in the photo that you really have to look for. Very much fits the words he shared.

The good news for me is I know enough to simply buy that it’s a pretty photo of the sunlight shining, huh?

And the beauty of it–is that there IS sun and light and glory despite the ‘hidden’.
Or, I suppose you could choose to only look at the power of the hidden and overlook the light………but that’s just not how I’m made! 😉

Thank slpmartin for that brilliance and giving me that power of choice!
