Hmmmm positive vibes.
1) I am on the mend.
2) I am having a nice break.
3) I haven’t throttled a grandchild(yet)
4) There is cooler weather forecast.
5) I am going to a comedy show on Saurday…I WILL be laughing.
6) It seems my new flat is on track.
I could go on and on….lots of positive stuff.
Great joining here with you again this Thursday morning. Love that quote.
“Not to hurt our humble brethren is our first duty to them, but to stop there is not enough. We have a higher mission- to be of service to them whenever they require it.” ~St. Francis of Assisi
Read that.
Liked that.
Shared that! 🙂
Looks like we’ve got several people joining us…one flicker of light at a time. And all thanks to you, Amy! 🙂
Love it. Occupy blog-o-sphere. I have always done my best to keep my own blog free from rants, bitter diatribes, and other negativity. I also try not to make it a “horn tooting” kind of site, but a site that offers insight, support, and ways to assist those who love to read and write.
Amy, as you know as a general rule I do not do awards…however, I am making an exception and you are to be the recipient…will be on my tomorrow’s post. Details about the award can be found here http://ahopefortoday.com/2012/01/14/hope-unites-globally-hug-award-guidelines/
HUG=Hope Unites Globally. Brilliant. I am thrilled, SuziCate. You could not have extended a kinder gesture. Wow. You can see I’ve posted it…right by your comment and presentation.

Here’s a link to something I wrote some time ago. We all have a choice to choose light…or dark.
Thanks for such a positive forum, Amy.

I missed the Thursday slot! Brilliant initiative, Amy…now I just need to organise myself each Thursday…
It’s 9 p.m. here on The Isle of Wight and I nearly didn’t make it this week. But I’ve just published my ‘Occupy Blogosphere’ post over on my blog (http://wightrabbit.wordpress.com). Excellent comments – I’m so happy to be part of this positive influence in the world. Sending thanks and love to all!
Hi,
It seems Occupy Blogoshere is catching on. 🙂
It’s amazing how quickly Thursday seems to come around (Friday here 🙂 )
The weeks are flying by this year, I’m sure this is because I am getting older and for no other reason. I hope you have a great day, and an even better weekend. 😀
Okay–I have another contribution since I received a gentle reminder today:
Integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
Which is sorta akin to:
“Lead your life so you wouldn’t be ashamed to sell the family parrot to the town gossip”.
😉 Well, a bit anyway! LOL
I’m so glad to see all the people who’re joining your call Amy. I can’t believe it’s Thursday again.
It’s spring here in Southern California, my favorite time of year: the trees are full of flowers, their scent fills my nostrils…
On the positive side:
I attended a fantastic conference last weekend where I drew the Occupy movement into the conversation. This got me some strange looks, but i didn’t let it phase me.
I subscribed to a daily affirmation and I check it out (nearly every day). I am actually repeating these and feeling good about myself.
I am consciously making decisions each day that I believe have greater, positive affects on the people around me, and hopefully, in the end the world as a whole.
This post has now been up for one day.
Thanks to one and all for your participation and great comments.
I am proud of us.
I am a believer in the goodness of each and every human being.
We are the hummingbirds putting out the fire – one drop at a time. We do it because we can.
That’s a great initiative. There should be more of it – and not just in the blogging world!
Thanks for letting me know you were here. Appreciate the encouragement.
Love the idea Amy. Occupy Blogosphere is so much fun.
It is fun…we’ll see where it goes. It needs to morph into its own.
Sounds fits to me 🙂
