Just before I give my shot, a neat thing happened today:
Near the finish of my morning stomp, a truck pulled into the Lumber Supply Shop. I respect the driver alot. I hired him a few years ago to look after the maintenance of the local business that I managed at the time. We hadn’t chatted since I left the business two years ago.
“What are you doing with your time?” he asked. I’ll call him Rod.
“Still writing…and…well, I’ve started something that I find hard to talk about.”
His mouth took off sideways into his signature, zany grin. I always liked this man. No matter what we talked about, his integrity came through like the fragrance of a fresh spring blossom. Today was no exception.
“That reminds me of a crazy movie…” It was familiar to both of us; it’s name long gone from memory. In it, two men ran into each other and b.s.ed shamelessly about their lives. Our shared laughter paved the way for me to nervously offer my research activities about the events going on in the world.
Dreading the glazed look that I expected, I could hardly believe what I was hearing. He was talking about the 1%. He was addressing the same issues that David Wilcock covers in his newsletter/blog. Rod’s sources were entirely different from mine, but the same specifics were related.
I asked him how he learned so much about this subject. He told me he is connected, through the internet, to a group of people with whom he shares a faith. One of them is a descendant of the Rothschild family. This descendant has shared, with this group, some of his horrific experiences in the “1% world” before finding his means of escape.
As Rod recounted the man’s story, he was expressing the same evil practices that Svali explained in her radio interview. (See Occupy Blogosphere – here.) Rod related numerous hideous facts which, again, are detailed in Wilcock’s newsletter/blog.
I told Rod about Occupy Blogosphere.
“Thank goodness,” Rod said. “People need to be aware. How do we carry this stuff around? Ya can’t just start talking about it because it sounds insane. It’s so ghoulish that people don’t want to hear about it. Over the years, some aspects of it have surfaced, but it was so bizarre no one believed it. Now we are being given the proof. Occupy Blogosphere is a good idea.”
I soaked in his positive response. I told him, “I hope this Occupy can be one where we say “we know” and send out Love.”
“Good”, said Rod, “It needs to be positive. The facts are too horrible. If we let them, they could drag us down.”
Thanks, Rod. Here’s to a shot of goodness.
.
There’s going to be some action: “Very few people are aware that a massive 122-nation coalition has formed to solve the problem — just in the nick of time – and they are backing a legal, public solution to end Financial Tyranny”. – David Wilcock
GO COALITION! WE NEED YOU TO WIN!
Excellent!
The 1% world is completely out of touch. My niece was a nanny in NYC to one such family. The stories she told were chilling and infuriating about their lack of connection with anything (or anyone) I would consider alive. It makes me sad.
The more we listen to these stories, the greater our awareness will be, quite obviously. And this is never a bad or negative thing, if you ask me. It must must happen. Thank you.
Thank you Souldipper…I feel so darn ignorant.
I have no idea what anyone is talking about.
Guess I will have to read that link you posted to satisfy my curiosity.
No time to read now because “its off to work I go” but I will sit down this weekend to read and will read it all whether I like it or not… Thank you for doing this Amy.
I hate to admit I sometimes like being in the dark for two reasons…one being it prevents me from wanting or needing to take action, and two being that this is just the sort of thing that gets me all squirmish, extremely uncomfortable when people are helplessly being manipulated, bullied, and used which unfortunately happens all the time to many of us on personal levels but to even think it is happening on a much bigger scale is just too heartbreaking to even consider….
I’ve posted something I think is uplifting to light up my little corner of the blog-o-sphere. I’m with you! I’ve sent links back to your page, too!

Amy, I’m not sure what the appropriate response is here, but let me throw this out there.
“Poverty is not wholly a personal failure. It also represents the failure of an economic system. And the remedy is not wholly one of charity, but of political and economic action. Poverty is a reflection also on those who are not poor.”
Brooks Atkinson.
The problem, as I see it, is two-fold:
1.We don’t know what political action is needed.
2. We can’t bring ourselves to agree on a political action, especially where it may require percieved personal sacrifices.
Hi Amy,
Good advice – yes, “we know”! AND we are watching. Hard to tell you I can easily send love but I know that is the right response. I found a quote the other day that is perfect for today’s “awakening” if indeed we can wake up people — it’s from Edmund Burke:
“All that is necessary for the forces of evil to win in the world is for enough good men to do nothing!”
Boy, how about that one???
Hugs

This was my mantra today……and hopefully again tomorrow.
Thanks to each of you for taking the time today to say what you want the world to know. Your support is really appreciated.
It’s interesting – at this point there may not be many comments, but the number of people coming to this post are well above the usual number.
Don’t be shy, readers. If you are wondering what to say, we’ll be back next Thursday. You have time to plan a slogan for Feb 2, 2012.
Let’s do our part in the transformation of 2012.
Way to go Amy! I have to say I’m one of those who pooh-pooh’s the stories I hear BECAUSE they sound so darned ridiculous, but. . . in the back of my little old brain I can’t help but believe there is some truth to them, too. I am a firm believer in the old adage: Truth is always stranger than fiction.
I’ll be waiting to see what you post next! And cheering loudly for you.
An explanation of cause is not a justification by reason.

Every Thursday. Positive. Got it. 🙂
Hi Amy, I happened to post a quote from the “Tao” this week and I think it is a very positive bit of information to share. Here is the link: http://bodhirose.wordpress.com/2012/01/25/the-ancient-masters/
I came here via Lorna’s blog today and think this is a splendid idea you have!

Ok Amy. You got me. I took your bait. I haven’t been taken for a ride for a long time lol
Poch, you may even have ideas about doing this with more pizzazz – using technology in a better fashion. One step at a time, but keep your creative cap on.

“Love is fed by the imagination, by which we become wiser than we know, better than we feel, nobler than we are: by which we can see Life as a whole: by which, and by which alone, we can understand others in their real as in their ideal relations.”Oscar Wilde
Best of success with your book, Paulette. Just reading the book’s cover makes me wish I had it with me right now. I’d curl in front of my fire and let the winter rain carry on without me.
